I just discovered Pinterest – ‘a place to catalog the things you love.’

Also this from their About page: Think of Pinterest as a virtual pinboard — a place where you can create collections of things you love and “follow” collections created by people with great taste.

People use Pinterest to collect and share all sorts of things — wedding inspiration, favorite T-shirts, DJ equipment. You name it, people are pinning it.

We know you have great taste in something. Our mission is to make Pinterest the best place for you to share your taste with the world.

And isn’t that what we’re trying to do with this blog (except more for ourselves)? I find it to more than just a masked google image search but one done with a discriminating eye. Hence, the reason to be invited to Pinterest I would guess. Some of the categories are a little broad but there’s a search option. It’s like community-shared mood boards from like-minded creative, DIY types – (I can tell just by the quality of photography they pin up). It was a great place to find some likeable type snippets for our logo. And as a tipping-off point to find other such treasures, especially for this blog – where sometimes I really don’t know what the hell to write or share.
